Babies, The Park and Hunger Games

We had such an outstanding weekend...Saturday consisted of Baseball with the boys...Livie and I were dressed fancy b/c we had a baby shower to go to.  I'm so excited to welcome the newest member to our family in the next few months...Sam and Mike (SIL and BIL) will have a surprise gender baby in June...Can't wait for another one to snuggle :)  Their nursery is SO ADORABLE!  I didn't get a picture but it looks similar to the image I borrowed from google :)
Saturday nights was a PJ clad evening with Dom snuggling watching Shrek...
Gotta love those nights :)

Sunday was another GREAT DAY!
I played with this kiddos while cleaning then met my sis and BFF, Grace, for lunch and HUNGER GAMES!  I was SO EXCITED!!!  I just finished the book during my trip to Charleston last week.  SO GOOD!  I don't care if it was written for young adults...I am young, right?!?!  :)  LOL
Lunch was great
The movie ROCKED and the company was even better :)

I was home by 3:30ish and I couldn't spend the gorgeous day indoors so I nabbed the kiddos and we headed out for a nice walk to their school's playground.  It was a little over a mile and they toughed it out.  We had a BLAST (great pictures too)

When we got home from out little adventure I made grilled ham and cheese sammies for dinner for me and the kiddos then hit the road with Lynn and Terri for a much needed run/walk.  I am so desiring my routine again...I hope it returns to normal soon (although I doubt it) :)

We had a WONDERFUL weekend ending with the snuggles of this little angle
I could just eat her up...

Here I sit Monday morning at Jury Duty (AGAIN)
This is the last Monday in April that I'm on the hook for...hopefully it will end soon:)

Charleston and weekly weigh in

Might as well get the weigh in part right...Odd that I can't this picture to flip :/  to be honest I haven't really tried LOL  This is pretty good considering I was traveling and haven't really moved my butt at all.

Get it together Apes :)

Secret?!?!  Charleston is my new favorite city (besides Baltimore).  I really loved it!!!  I took a self tour while I had some time on my schedule.  I was in Charleston for 2 days attending an event for a possible UA vendor.  It was a great trip!!!  But I missed my kiddos.

A few pictures??
My Hotel
Me waiting for my ride to dinner...My way of saying goodnight to my kiddos.
My favorite part...King Street!  TONS OF SHOPPING (but I didn't buy anything...)
Lunch was served on Wednesday (my last day) and I happily sliced into the chicken, added some raspberry vinaigrette and started munching away while talking...talking...talking.  As I'd finished most of the chicken breast on the left side I realized...IT WAS PINK in the middle!  YIKES!!!!!  UGG!!!!!  I immediately felt sick to my stomach!!!  I excused myself and sweated out the anxiety of getting sick on the plane, having to stay in Charleston, etc...  YICK!  Luckily by the time I was headed to the airport I felt MUCH BETTER!  I didn't eat a whole lot the rest of the day but I seem to have missed the bullet :)
It was lovely to get home and the best part was that Thursday was "take your child to work day" and UA had a huge event for kiddos over age 7.  Mason came with me and we spent a really cool day together.
He drew pictures on my whiteboard
and had a BLAST!!!  UA really went all out to make it a really special day for the kiddos :)
That's all I have for now, another crazy weekend is brewing...more later

Quick Hello from Charleston

Yesterday was pretty hectic and all I have for you is food:)  LOL
Crockpot chicken...SO EASY
Basically I take a small chicken, dice an onion put it in the cavity then layer the crock pot with potatoes, carrots and the chicken.  I cover the chicken with salt and pepper and cook on low for 8+ hours and voila!  SO GOOD!!!
Today and Tomorrow I'm in Charleston for a conference...
GORGEOUS CITY...I'm getting ready to explore but wanted to post pictures of lunch and the hotel :)

Sophia Marie

Friday was exciting...for many reasons
REASON ONE:
I took the water taxi then a relaxing stroll to get to the Baltimore Waterfront Marriott for a wonderful event to support the House of Ruth in Baltimore.
I was presented with this at 10:47am...I ate the strawberry but passed on the champagne :)
The Salad was outstanding
The dessert gorgeous!
Friday night Mason and I took a little walk around the neighborhood then...
REASON TWO my Friday rocked?!?!

Sophia Marie Bossle entered our amazing family!!!  (isn't she precious?!?!)
My Brother and Sister in law....YAY!
It was a bit of a scare with her being delivered by emergency C-Section 3 weeks early but no worries...she was 7lbs 7ozs and perfect!!!  All are good and I got to squish on her twice this weekend :)
Ok...I had to post a picture of this little girl too...from this weekend :)  Is it just me or does she look really big all the sudden???  :(  My baby girl is growing up.
The rest of the weekend consisted of....
Baseball, more baby time, snuggles with my Livie Lou, rain, PJs and laundry :)
GREAT WEEKEND IN MY BOOK

Down is down...

Sorry for the rotated view...I don't know why it did that :(  Oh well...down is down right?  Even if it is half a pound.  The cruddy part is that I was down to 194 yesterday but due to my food choices and no exercise yesterday...I didn't keep it down.  Oh well...Life goes on :)

You'll see why food was a problem
 Curry Chicken from the H&H
Subway at the baseball field
Random picture time...
this bus cracked me up yesterday morning while I was sitting at a light...LOL
There were dogs in the bus too.  Bahahahaha
Don't mind my messy closet...I felt really cute in this dress today.  I have an event to go to for lunch today and this is an OLD dress, that hasn't fit for a long time...I feel pretty today :)  LOL
(hair was still wet)

Time to get to it

Inspiration...

I don't know about you but I could use some inspiration in my life...  I heard this story on the radio this morning and had to repost it for you:
________________________________________________________
Fairfield, Conn. (WTNH) -- He was told he had 14 days left to live, but now Sean Swarner is the first cancer survivor to climb Mt. Everest.

Imagine being in high school and being diagnosed with two rare forms of cancer and then being told that you only have 14 days to live. That's what happened to Sean Swarner, but instead of taking the news lying down, he stood up and fought back. And started climbing the highest peaks of the world.

"I think I had two choices. It was either to fight for my life or give up and die, and I just don't think I was ready to give up and die," he says.

Swarner started fighting for his life one step at a time and then, one mountain at a time.

"I went from basically the bottom of my life, from fighting for my life, to the top of the world, literally," he said.

On May 16, 2002 Swarner became the first cancer survivor to climb Mount Everest.

"I used it as a 29,000 foot platform to scream hope."

And he's been spreading hope to others fighting for their lives ever since.

"I've done the seven summits, which are the highest mountains on every continent, I've done the Hawaii Ironman, I'm doing th Boston Marathon on Monday," he said. "So I travel around and try to share my survivorship story with other people just to give them something I never had, which is hope."

He still sees the same doctor who told him he had 14 days to live every year for his annual check-up. He also sends the doctor photographs from every peak he scales, to remind them both that the impossible can, indeed, be possible.

"My phrase is 'keep climbing, never give up, always keep moving forward' and I wanted to prove to people that anything's possible," he said.

If that wasn't motivation I don't know what is...
Yesterday was a really great day!  I'm happy to say that the four words to describe my day yesterday would be:  productive, peaceful, snugly, burnt (LOL)

Food Yesterday?

I swear I didn't eat the whole container...
This is where burnt comes in...I attempted to make a veggie stuffed pizza roll but I burnt that one so DJ and I ate some of the peperoni one I made for the kiddos :)  Oh well LOL
I realized around the middle of the day that I was VERY colorful yesterday...I had bright pink, green, denim and pail purple nails...LOL  had to take a picture of my colors :)
That is it for now
Enjoy this day!
