Great Weekend (sans the laceration)

I didn't even post on Friday did I???  Well let's see, what did I do??  I went to a party at a neighbors house...I have a 31 obsession :)  We had a great time and it included some wine :)

Saturday was crazy crazy...We woke up to clean clean clean the house.  Angie's baby shower would start at 1pm (at my house).  I got everything cleaned and ready.  Hit the grocery store around 10am, came home and started food prepping like a crazy person.  Around noon I was chopping dill and my mom asked me a question and I decided to try and chop off my finger.  No seriously...I really hacked into my poor finger. 

DJ and I jumped in the car and zoomed to patient first feeling certain that I was going to need stitches.  They didn't do stitches (we don't agree) but they put on steri strips.  Ready for the best part??  We were home by 12:30!!!  CRAZY!  We were only at Patient First for 15 minutes, start to finish!  WOOT!

We made it home for the party in plenty of time and it was all hands on deck as people started to arrive.  The party was wonderful and they got lots of stuff for Baby Bossle :)  YAY!  I can't wait to meet my little niece or nephew...I actually think it will be a boy (we'll find out in Mid May).

It was obviously my day off from food...I barely ate anything then pigged out all night :)  It was a good day minus the laceration :)

Sunday was CHILL!  We had a great and relaxing day of doing a whole lotta nothing...

DANG...my pancakes look a little fuzzy.  I made ricotta pancakes for breakfast on Sunday with strawberries and a little syrup (but mostly honey)...Mmmmmmm

 Lunch was Tuna, left over from the party.

 Dinner was fish with potatoes and broccoli

I gauged my neighborhood ladies interest in a walk and when everyone was busy I decided to get back to what I forgot I really enjoy...a 1 and a half mile quick run...it was AMAZING and made me remember how much I love to do it :)  YAY!!!
