Here goes

This weekend was a blurr and here we are already at Tuesday.  I'm happy to announce that I'm already a pound down from Friday even though I ate 2 dinners on Saturday night and killed the Easter Candy bowl.  I must have gotten in alot of exercise and eaten like an angel otherwise...I'll take it :)

The weekend in review...

Meg and I went to outback for sister drinks...gotta love sister time {love}
Saturday started early with a parade and opening day for the boys baseball league.  Mason looks like such a big boy these days :(  My baby...LOL
Dom is as cute as can be...  The weather was outstanding - near 85 degrees.  We had a wonderful time at this little event including a game, carnival games and bouncy houses :)
Saturday night we dropped the kiddos off to my mom and dad's (for the baby sitter...really really long story) then headed downtown for dinner with some of my co-workers.  We ended up double booked for the night but it was ok...we had a GREAT TIME.

Dinner at Tio Pepe's was very good and the sangria was potent :)  We were the best dressed couple there :)
Side note: we wouldn't usually dress so formal just to go to dinner, LOL...After dinner we headed to the Memory Ball to benefit the Alzheimer's Association.  It was a GREAT NIGHT full of fun, friends, family, food and dancing :)

Remember the "10"???  This is it...this picture isn't too flattering but at least I'm documenting my progress, right??

Sunday was a mumbo jumbo crazy day!!!  We headed to mom and dad's early to get the kiddos then we headed to Emmittsburg for a Family Reunion.  It was an interesting day...(and that's all I'm gonna say about that) :)

Let's just say that after a weekend like that I was pooped.  I was exhausted when I went to bed Sunday night...exhausted when I woke up Monday morning and dragged around here most of the day :)  I survived so I guess that is good news, right?? LOL

  Back to Life...Back to Reality...Back to the food journal :)

Did I ever tell you that I'm soup spoiled???  Some people can eat soup out of a can, no problem...  Not me!  Thanks to my mom...I'll never be able to eat soup out of a can ever again.  She is an outstanding soup cook: Crab Soup, Cabbage Soup, Ham and Bean Soup (above), Potato Soup, YOU NAME IT.
Luckily I'm spoiled and she makes it for me :)

Dinner was turkey sausage, peppers and onions in the crock pot...it was delicious but messy so no picture :)
That's it for now...
