Take a Walk

Yesterday I had a very stressful day.  Finding Leo (www.zenhabits.net) couldn't have come at a better time for me.  I was feeling so bogged down by stress here at work that I was having physical symptoms.  Tight chest, strain in my shoulders, and the most obvious???  unconscious eating (BLAH).  I read through a few of Leo's posts and decided to take his advice and get moving. 

I had a lunch meeting about a mile from here yesterday and I emailed the person who was going to pick me up and give me a ride "thanks but not thanks" and decided to walk!  It was a beautiful day and I had flip flops in my car so I hoofed it.  AND IT FELT GREAT!  Really great!!!  I walked back too :)  It was truly amazing to me how much that little walk relieved my stress. 

Note to self...take a walk everyday (while at work)...force yourself to do it, schedule it if you need to :)

Today was ok food wise.  Lunch was a rare tuna wrap (unpictured)
Yup...that was a hotdog for dinner.  It is a turkey dog on a whole wheat bun but you know summer is near when I start eating hotdogs :)

Time to get to work...
