I'm feeling like an old lady...LOL After class on Wednesday I noticed alot of pain in my lower left side of my back. I noticed by Wednesday night that I had a big knot in the muscle tissue back there...OUCH!!! It got worse yesterday and this morning was really really painful!!!! I thought perhaps a stretch would help but Alicia (trainer extraordinaire) said to leave it be!!! Take come Advil and ice it down.
On the way to run a quick errand this morning I called hubby and he suggested an Icy Hot Patch!!! OMG...I'm in heaven! this thing feels so good on my sore little back :) Shaq agrees - LOL That said, the workout this morning was kick ass!! I think lowering myself into chairs and to sit on the toilet are going to be difficult today and tomorrow. I really enjoy my class :)
Clean Eating is going really well too!!! I haven't indulged in any sweets and the only way I've cheated was via a few packets of artificial sweetener over the last few days...but COME ON-I need something to sweeten up my life. I wonder how I will feel about sugar next week when this is over?
My smoothie yesterday was interesting :)
Plain Greek Yogurt, strawberries, banana, oranges, skim milk and a drizzle of honey.
I definitely prefer to have it with Almond Milk or Vanilla yogurt but this wasn't bad and was packed with protein :)
The challenge for my little strategy will be tonight! Tonight I have the girls coming over for book club at my house. We are discussing Sarah's Key (GREAT BOOK) and everyone is bringing a dessert and drink. I will have ONE skinny tea vodka with crystal lite lemonade (off the clean eating list but I have to have at least one drink) and I'm making Fruit tarts that aren't at all healthy but oh well. I'll make sure I reserve some fruit for eating (since I won't be eating the tarts :)
