The rest of our weekend at the beach was pretty great :) Friday I ate really well all day (veggie muffin, fruit, baked chips, turkey sandwich on the beach, whole grain pasta with broccoli/chicken that I made for dinner and some low fat ice cream we got at the grocery store). I even ran/walked 2 miles Friday morning! GREAT DAY! Note: About a mile into my run I felt a sharp pain in my left side/back...weird but advil seems to make it better :)
We had a GREAT TIME ON THE BEACH! The boys had a blast and little beauty loved the sand and even took great naps while we chilled and I read The Help. GREAT BOOK BTW!
Saturday was
not so good...Bfast was a veggie sausage and lunch was a turkey sandwich then dinner was JUNK FOOD at the Boardwalk! I had Trashers French Fries (the best)
Then I had Pizza and a huge Ice Cream Sundae at 10pm....ICK! I felt like crap and I didn't run b/c I decided to take the day off...but hey I am on vacation right???
5am on Sunday the pain started!!! Severe cramping in my upper abdomen, it almost felt like contractions. That along with severe nausea made the 4 hour drive home (in the rain) HELL! But I made it home, pain continued, and I went to bed! SO GLAD Sunday was over!!!
Yesterday the pain continued so I called my doctor. He is pretty sure it is something with my gallbladder. I have an ultrasound today at 11:15 to see for sure. All I know is that I haven't really eaten since Saturday night...over 48 hours. Last night I tried to eat a few bites of stuffed pepper filling but the cramps started almost right away. Around 8p I was starving so I had a piece of toast and some pretzels and I didn't get cramps after that. UGG!!! I know it will be a relief if I don't have to have it out if it is my gallbladder but I've been cut open so many times in the last year (c-section and hernia surgery)...I've about had it! OK enough whining...
The good news about not being able to eat is that I've lost over 3 lbs. I am down to 210 (the lowest yet). This is something to be thankful for right? [come on silver lining]
That's all I got today...TTFN (210)
