Happy LABOR DAY!

Last night's date night was kind of a bust...We left around 7 for sushi.  Found out we couldn's use our restaurants.com gift cert (I was pissed).  Then DJ dropped a large roll into the soy sauce and splattered a BUNCH of sauce onto this shirt (he was pissed)!  The sushi was DELICIOUS though.  We got a california roll, philly roll (DJ's fav), tuna roll (my fav) and we tried a new roll, Devil's Roll (it was SO SPICY).

 The glass of wine helped :)   

We attempted to rally.  Came home so DJ could change his shirt.  Livie had woken up so I put her back to bed then we left again to see what we could get into.  Turns out that it is really boring in Bel Air on a Sunday night, even if it was before a national holiday.  We ended up at The Black Horse but it was incredibly empty!  We went to the back bar and I saw a wall full of slushie drinks (in mixers).  I asked the bar tender about them and ended up with an electric lemonade type drink.  It was OK.

DJ was still a little hungry after sushi so he ordered some chesapeake potato skins.  Crap Dip in crunchy potato skins with cheddar cheese?  Yes please!

They were actually pretty good.  I had half of one.

I ended up with a 2nd glass of wine then we were home by 9pm.  UGG...we are lame! LOL

The boys were even still awake and Davina was awake much longer watchin some tube.  We put the boys to bed and hit the hay ourselves!

Today is Labor Day and we are headed to Mom and Dads for a little cook-out.  Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and an amazing Chocolate Nut pie I picked up at Trader Joes!

Breakfast was Pancakes for the kids and a half of another eggs over my hammy for myself (I didn't really like it this time...too dry)  I will probably add 2 eggs and one english muffin next time.  Better picture though!  That's all I got for now.  I'll run/walk tonight (even on the treadmill) b/c I'm sure I'll feel stuffed after Mom and Dad's :)  TTFN!
