Yesterday Morning started like most with oatmeal and a green monster :) Knowing it was going to be a crazy day, I had a little salad with some veggies and peanut dressing and a handful of peanuts
It was the day of our HR Labor Day BBQ (Corporate Sponsored Event) and Andy Nelson's was catering. They are basically a Maryland BBQ landmark! Being "HR" we had to make something available for our vegetarians and since Andy Nelson's is all meat all the time, we ordered some trays of veggie wraps from Jason's Deli. Andy Nelson's catered red skin potato salad, Pork BBQ, Turkey BBQ and corn on the cob. Along with Sweet Tea and Lemonade. I steered clear of this whole offering and opted for the veggie wrap.
Since I was running around like a crazy chicken...I took this picture in my car (sorry it is so dark). I should have taken more pictures of the event b/c it was cute. All my pictures turned out blurry :( Probably b/c I was running around all day organizing this thing!! LOL
OK...so bonus points for making good choices...deduction for portion control!!! I had 4 halves of the veggie wrap. It was AMAZING! I'm sure most of the calories were in the wrap itself, the little bit of cheese and the guacamole but it couldn't have been that bad!?! right?!?! In addition to the wraps I decided to enjoy some blue corn tortillas and salsa. The Jason's salsa is SO GOOD! I could drink it :) LOL
When I got home with the boys before running around even more and picking up the girl from my Mom I had a bag of Kix cereal. Holy Carbs!!!
Then for dinner I ate another half of a veggie wrap (I'd brought some home). WHO KNEW?!?! who knew these were so delicious!? I brought 2 halfs for lunch today (we shall see). I made some quinoa with zucchini last night for lunch supplements this week. It is really really good!!! I also had a bite of Mason's Ice Cream :) Last night, I read 2 books to the boys. We snuggled in my bed and had a GREAT NIGHT. My FB status?!?: "I love being a Mom"
TTFN :)
