My Oatmeal...It's back!!!
Doesn't it look amazing?
Banana Nut Oatmeal
Ingredients:
2/3 Cup Irish Oatmeal (I only eat one brand that can be found in the organic aisle)
1 Cup Unsweet Vanilla Almond Milk
1 banana 2 tbsp nuts of your choice (I use walnuts or pecans)
drizzle of honey
I add the oatmeal and almond milk to a microwave safe bowl then nuke for 2 to 2 and a half minutes. Then I mix in the nuts, banana and honey...SO EASY...so GOOD! (if the oatmeal seems a little dry, I add a little more almond milk)
I had a monster during a meeting this morning
Lunch was at the H&H
I got a veggie wrap, some stacey's chips and green beans
a granola bar (b/c I was starving and this is the only snack I found in my purse (I'm sure it was there for the kids). I don't usually eat these :)Hubby and I decided to do a date night...YAY. Actually it is more complicated than that but I don't feel like explaining, LOL. The important thing is that we had a date night.
Date night included:
Beer
Crab Dip
My FAVORITE Mango Tuna wrap (with frenchfires)...when in rome :)
The good news is that I only ate half the wrap and half the fries. The bad news is that it was grumpy couples night at the Lodge. We sat at the bar for dinner and there was a couple beside us that was fighting and left just as we sat down...then another couple sat down and they were NOT HAPPY! As the bar tenderer said...if your so miserable, you should be a home with a bottle rather than at a bar with a pint :) LOL
We had a good time and still made it home in time to watch Blue Bloods (I heart Tom Selleck)
Time to see what I can get into on this rainy day...
