and it feels good. OK...maybe it hurts but it is a good kind of hurt. I'm in a lot of muscle pain and I hope it fades enough so I can make it through the workout tomorrow morning. I need to do something tonight also...I wanted to run (perhaps I will) but I'm thinking a yoga video would be more conducive to my pain with a little walk :)
Yesterday was mostly on track :) I packed my healthy food. Even found the coconut curry tempeh I was looking for at the Harris Teeter near my work. What did I eat??
My oatmeal: Irish Oats, 8oz Unsweet vanilla Almond Milk - nuked for 2 minutes. Then I add a half a banana and a tbsp of chunky pb. Mmmmmmm
Breakfast number two consisted of a few quinoa/zucchini bites (I'll post the recipe later)
Lunch was my quinoa and zucchini salad with feta and tomatoes...Mmmmmmm
My smoothie around 2:30 was delicious: yogurt, oranges, 1/2 banana, stawberries, spinach.
Dinner was turkey burgers on the grill with a half peice of cheese on a whole wheat bun with a side salad.
After dinner, even though my legs were killing me we all took a walk to the McDs near our house for an ice cream cone. I was looking at the nutritional info on the McD website and this cone was 150 calories but the kiddie cone (much smaller and all I need) is only 45 calories - next time :)
The first day back on track was pretty great! I felt great all day...and although my body hurts it is all worth it!
