American Idol

Baahahahahahaha...OK, I haven't watched this for a number of seasons (well since Carey Underwood) but I have to say...I'm laughing my A$$ off right now, especially these people who really really think they can sing.  I mean...come on people, does no one love you in your life???   Are you surrounded by tone deaf people?  OK...that is enough of that  (note: I'm only watching b/c I LOVE Steven Tyler and JLO)

My 2nd day at UA was really great.  BEST PART?!?  I FOUND A SMOOTHIE BAR, in the cafe right downstairs, AND THEY MAKE MY MONSTER!!!!!!   YAY!  I'm one happy camper and b/c the cafe is subsidized by UA it only cost $2.50, oh yeah!!!

Traffic was rotten on the way home and I had to pick up Livie from my mom in White Marsh so we didn't get home until after 6:30p, UGG.  We got home, ate dinner real quick, I spent some lovie time with Livie and the boys then hit the road for a quick mile.  

It was FREEZING tonight...and I ended up with bleeding lungs.  You know what I'm talking about....you have a hard time breathing and try to work thru it...eventually it feels like your lungs are bleeding - BLECK!  I can't stop coughing now, UGG!  I am glad I did it though b/c once I stopped coughing it felt GREAT!

So what did I eat today??

Well..I packed lunch and alot of good that did me...I did eat my english muffin bfast sammie *wrapped in paper towels here* but I didn't end up eating my banana, yogurt or blackbean/rice dish.
 However, I did find out about the smoothie bar!!! YAY...BEST PART OF MY YEAR (to date, LOL)  This one is plain yogurt, with blueberries, spinach and banana.  They have at least 10 types of fruit and all kinds of options.  I'm SO EXCITED TO TRY ALL DIFFERENT TYPES OF SMOOTHIES *I know I'm a nerd*
 I had a lunch meeting where we didn't actually eat at all, LOL  The meeting was over at 1pm and I grabbed a sandwich and some baked chips to bring back to my office to eat.  Lunch had actually been catered and was sitting outside the room the whole time...it was a pretty great meeting about Wellness Programs though and I learned alot about the wellness culture at UA.  The sandwich was pretty dang good!  Whole wheat bread with turkey, ham and cheddar cheese. 
 Snacks??  Around 2pm they were Back to Back to Back and included:
Low Fat String Cheese
 Kind Bar
 and an Apple
I threw some chicken, canned tomatoes and green peppers in the crock pot with some seasoning this morning and voila when I got home (late) it was ready.  I had it over some spaghetti squash mixed with some whole wheat spaghetti.  YUM!!!  IT WAS REALLY GOOD! 

When I got home from my run, I had a bowl of unpictured Kashi and almond milk.  GREAT DAY/night!  I could have done without the traffic issues but all in all, GREAT DAY!

Today, my benefit coordinator sent me this cartoon and it really made me smile :)

Alright ya'll, I'm going to finish laughing at these people on AI and then I'm going to bed, Zzzzzz :)
