Movin on up...

It kinda felt like the Jefferson's today, for me :)  I had my first amazing day at Under Armour.  I spent most of the morning in Orientation...where to park?  where does everyone sit?  Where do I get Info?  Who do I ask for help??  I also got a GREAT tour of the UA building, including a tour of the studios.  TRULY AMAZING!!!  I'm so psyched to work for a great company. Then I was greeted by the Benefits Coordinator, Elisa for lunch.  Unfortunately my boss was sick :(  We had a great lunch and talked and talked and talked :)  I then ducked into a couple of great meetings and got to meet alot of the people I'll be working with day in and day out :)

The best part of my day?!?!  Seeing my new space...Let's face it; if you work away from home, you basically LIVE in your work space.  It is your home away from home.  TESSCO was cube country (even the CEO has a cube) and before that Fieldstone was also cube country.  I have only had an "office" for like a minute...WELL...guess who has an office?!  ME!!!!  It is pretty exciting even if it is superficial!!!  I kept singing the Jefferson's song in my head (Movin on UP....LOL)  I know I'm a nerd but it is pretty exciting.

Picture of my door :)

In addition...my commute was pretty good :)  It took me 45 minutes each way.  Pretty good considering my commute to TESSCO was 35 minutes each way :)

The only downside to my day was (a) I didn't eat enough and ended up with a RAGING headache and (b) I didn't get to run today/tonight.  I figured it was better to spend time with the munchkins and it was TOTALLY worth it!  So what did I eat?

Breakfast was in the car...banana coffee and english muffin veggie sausage sammie.
 it was dark
LUNCH ROCKED!!!  The H&H *Humble N Hungry* Cafe ROCKED!  I'll try to take a picture of the menu soon without getting made fun of.  It was cool tho, the menu had a stop light system to help people make healthy choices...OH AND 90% of the choices were GREEN!!! YAY!  There is sushi, a huge salad bar, deli, YOU NAME IT!  AND it is subsidized by UA, so it is really cheap.  I got a salad that included beets, tomato, cucs, green peppers, walnuts, blue cheese and balsamic dressing, Mmmmmmmmm  Oh and a little grilled chicken :)
Around 3 I was STARVING so I ate a Kind bar

I got home around 6p and was TOTALLY FAMISHED.  Plus, Livie wouldn't let me put her down so I had to make and eat my food standing with her on my hip (sorry no pic).  Wonderful DH had made Tacos for everyone!  They rocked!!

I snuggled with the kiddos and chilled with hubby until he had to go to a Knights of Columbus meeting...Now I'm going to bed b/c I'm EXHAUSTED!!!!

That's it for now
