Time for positive April :)
This morning I turned around my mood by taking a run...then I turned around my mood by going to church and finally I spent some quality time with my family...Check Check Check. Time to list the things I'm thankful for from this weekend (short list and not all inclusive but I have pictures... LOL)
1. NEW SHOPS that sell rockin shoes and eventually I'll love their clothes too. This is where I got my shoes from my earlier post.
2. Funny signs in dressing rooms...LMAO Is this true or what?!?!
3. Dinners that turn out really great! Even tho you've made them like a million times before. This is my deconstructed Chicken Pot Pie, I made it for dinner Saturday Night.
4. Amazing food that is life changing (and I won't eat very often, LOL). This is the lump crab fried rice at a restaurant called Chopstix. OMG...it is life changingly delicious! It is also incredibly unhealthy so it will only be for super special treats :)
5. My baby girl eating an apple on the counter. It was so freakin cute :) (don't mind my messy counter)
6. My cute little puppy :)
7. The park with my kids...I heart Annie's Playground!
We had a really great weekend and my esteem issues can't change that :)
Now onto my food for today. GREAT FOOD DAY
Yogurt Parfait: 1C. Lowfat Vanilla Yogurt, 1/4 C. thawed frozen blueberries, 1/8 C. Kashi GoLean Crunch cereal. That is it...YUM!
Then I had a veggie sausage sammie
I went to church solo today. Normally I would hate that (the boys were in CCD and DJ stayed home with the princess), but I really loved the peace of it. I used it as an opportunity to get centered and relax. It worked :) Church and the run are responsible for my sanity today :)
We went to Chopstix for lunch. I had to introduce DJ to the Lump Crab Fried Rice...OMG!
I got Sushi too...Mason LOVES California Rolls so we split them.
Right after lunch we went to Annie's Playground for some family time! It was GREAT! Livie loved the swings and the boys had a blast too. This is the most amazing playgound I've ever seen for anyone who's never been there. If you're local to MD/Harford Co, you have to try it!!!
After the Park we made our way to Mom's house for my sis, Meg's, b-day dinner. It was Frogamore Stew. It is like a seafood boil that includes, sausage, potato, corn, and shrimp. SO GOOD and pretty healthy too :)
I had a little piece of cake with a tiny bit of ice cream. It was spice cake and OH SO GOOD!
Happy BIRTHDAY BABY SIS!!!
When I came home, I hit the road with the ladies in the neighborhood for a great walk...I'm happy to have their validation and support in my life - THANKS LADIES!
I wanted something sweet and remembered I had all the makings for a root beer float. My way!!! Light Ice Cream and Diet Root Beer. Barely any calories and SO GOOD! I also wanted some pretzels :)
I'm in a pretty good place in my head right now...hoping this sticks :)
That's all I got - Goodnight Neverland!
